Accessibility

Feedback everyone can give

Your clients and your team should be able to review work however they use a computer. Drobber works from the keyboard, talks to screen readers, and lets each person turn on higher contrast, less motion or larger text.

Included on every plan and in the free trial

Your settings

Three switches,
in both places.

In the review toolbar on your site, open Settings and then Accessibility. In the dashboard, it’s under Account, or in the account menu. Each switch is remembered in that browser, and the dashboard applies yours before the page is drawn, so nothing flashes.

What’s built in.

Works from the keyboard

Tab to any comment and press Enter or Space to open it. Focus moves into the comment and back to its card when you close it.

Talks to screen readers

Every comment and pin is labelled with its number, who left it, when, its status and its words. New comments and messages are read out as they arrive.

You can always see focus

A clear outline sits around whatever the keyboard is on, in the review toolbar and across the dashboard.

Easier-to-read text

Grey text is darker than before: 6.1:1 contrast in the review panel and 5.6:1 in the dashboard. Higher contrast takes it further.

Less motion

If your device asks for reduced motion, Drobber listens everywhere. You can also switch animations off yourself.

Windows that keep focus

Sign-in, your name and the shortcuts list keep Tab inside them until you close them, so you never lose your place.

Where we are, honestly

This is our first round of accessibility work, finished in October 2026. We haven’t had an independent audit yet, so we don’t claim to meet a particular standard. Some things, like drawing on the page, still work best with a mouse, a trackpad or touch.

If something gets in your way, or in your clients’ way, please tell us at [email protected]. We read every message and fix what we can.

Got questions

Accessibility,
answered

For most things, yes. You can move between comments, open them, read and reply, switch between desktop, tablet and mobile views and hide the side panel from the keyboard. Drawing on the page still works best with a mouse, a trackpad or touch.

Yes. Each comment card and pin is labelled with its number, who left it, when, its status and its words, and new comments, messages and confirmations are read out as they happen. If your screen reader trips over something, please tell us.

Yes. Anyone reviewing on your site can open Settings in the review toolbar and turn on Higher contrast, Reduce motion or Larger text. Their choice is remembered in their browser.

Yes. If your device asks for reduced motion, Drobber turns off its animations everywhere. You can also switch them off yourself with Reduce motion.

We haven’t had an independent audit yet, so we don’t claim to meet WCAG. Grey text now passes the 4.5:1 contrast WCAG asks for, at 6.1:1 in the review panel and 5.6:1 in the dashboard, and we’re working through the rest.
